AAA Fuel Gauge Report for March 18: Today’s national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.68. This price is a penny less than one week ago, fractions of a penny less expensive than one month ago and fifteen cents less than the average price one year ago. Today is the first day since January 11 that the average price at the pump has registered a month-over-month decline. The national average has fallen for five consecutive days and 17 of 19 days since the peak 2013 price to date of $3.79 on Feb. 27.
