Senate Bill 2132 and House Bill 3624 is comprehensive clean energy legislation that would encourage the build out of an estimated 2,500 wind turbines across the state.
By 2030 Illinois could generate enough wind energy to power the equivalent of 7.2 million average U.S. homes.
Illinois became only the 6th state to produce more than 5000 MW of wind energy in 2019.
