The Energy Consumer Protection Pledge is a way to expresses your support for “all-of-the-above” energy and environmental policies that benefit American families, farmers, and small businesses across your state.
The Pledge was designed by Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA) so consumers can easily identify candidates and elected officials who believe:
- Families, especially those living at or below the poverty line, and businesses need access to affordable, reliable energy;
- Comprehensive energy and environmental policies will encourage both responsible energy development and conservation of our environment; and
- American innovation and investment in our workers will allow us to achieve energy independence.
We at CEA believe in supporting responsible energy development and a healthier environment – the two cannot continue to be partisan issues. And, like most Americans, CEA believes that just saying “no” is not a solution to ensure access to affordable, reliable energy for our families, our businesses, and our communities.
