ALBUQUERQUE – Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA), the leading energy and environmental advocate for families and businesses, today announced the appointment of Bridget Condon as Director, Southwest. Condon will help lead CEA’s government relations and policy advocacy efforts across New Mexico and Arizona, focusing on energy policies that benefit American families and businesses.
Condon brings more than a decade of experience in public affairs and government relations to her new position. She will spearhead strategic engagement with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders across the Southwest while advancing CEA’s mission to ensure consumers have access to affordable, reliable, and cleaner energy. Her responsibilities will include advising on legislative and regulatory developments, building coalitions, and implementing advocacy strategies that support economic growth and energy security.
“We are thrilled to have Bridget join our team during such a critical time for energy policy in the Southwest,” CEA President David Holt said. “Her proven ability to navigate complex issues, build successful partnerships and deliver strong policy outcomes will be invaluable as we work to advance sensible energy policies that serve New Mexico and Arizona families, farmers, and small businesses.”
Prior to joining CEA, Condon served as Director of Public Relations & Government Affairs for Swire Coca-Cola across New Mexico and Arizona. Her career has spanned corporate government affairs, legislative policy work, economic development, and statewide industry advocacy. She began her public service career working for Congressman Steve Pearce—recently tapped by the White House to lead the Bureau of Land Management—before advancing into roles with the New Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Sandoval Economic Alliance, and the Legislative Education Study Committee.
“I’m excited to join CEA and contribute to a mission that has never been more important than it is today in an era of unprecedented energy demand, which is advocating for sensible energy policies that support economic growth and more affordable energy,” Condon said. “CEA’s commitment to ensuring families and businesses have access to reliable, affordable energy aligns perfectly with my passion for advancing pragmatic solutions that benefit our communities across the Southwest.”
A committed civic and community leader, Condon serves on several boards, including the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico. She was named the 2025 Member of the Year by the New Mexico Chamber of Commerce and was recognized as one of Albuquerque Business First’s 40 Under Forty honorees.
Condon holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from the University of New Mexico.
