Consumer Energy Alliance names Sherrick Roanhorse as Southwest Director
HOUSTON – Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA), the leading energy and environmental advocate for families and businesses, today announced that Sherrick Roanhorse has joined the organization as Southwest Director.
Roanhorse, who most recently served as Senior Government Affairs Manager at the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM), will help lead CEA’s policy and stakeholder engagement efforts across New Mexico and Arizona. His experience working with municipalities, policymakers, and coalitions will support CEA’s efforts to advance practical energy policies that prioritize affordability and reliability for families and businesses.
“Sherrick is an accomplished policy leader who understands the energy issues facing communities across the Southwest,” CEA President David Holt said. “As a New Mexico native with extensive experience working with policymakers, communities, and stakeholders, he brings valuable regional knowledge and relationships that will be an immediate asset to CEA and those we represent.”
During his time with PNM, Roanhorse helped advance key legislative priorities, organized coalition support, and co-created a renewable energy program. Prior to PNM, he served as Chief of Staff to the late Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly, where he directed day-to-day tribal government operations and managed key priority initiatives.
Roanhorse will be based in Albuquerque.
