Oklahoma
Oklahoma is embarking on its journey to a clean energy future. The state is known for being a “heavyweight” when it comes to wind power but is still only skimming the surface of possibilities solar could provide its residents. The Sooner State is currently experiencing a robust policy debate regarding renewable energy. Debates regarding the technology are ongoing in the state legislature, regulatory agencies, and communities around the state.
Solar Energy Future Reports
Oklahoma ranks 39th out of all states for solar energy jobs available to residents.

This year, (2018) OGE Energy and SunPower completed a solar plant in Covington that will power the lives of 1,000 families in the Sooner State.
