- Clean Energy First Act
In 2019, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed the “Clean Energy First Act”. This year, HF1405 and SF1456 were reintroduced providing that renewable energy resources like wind are given top priority for power generation.
Minnesota ranks in the top 10 in the nation for generating energy from wind.
In 2018, wind energy provided 19% of Minnesota’s in-state electricity generation.
